The SFGMC is ready to premiere "Tyler’s Suite," which tells the story of Tyler Clementi in a cycle of songs curated by Stephen Schwartz.

The hauntingly beautiful lyrics and music celebrate the life of Tyler Clementi, a gay Rutgers University student whose suicide in 2010 captured worldwide media attention.

This recording is a result of a three-year collaboration with veterans of color from the wars in Iran and Afghanistan that culminated in world premiere performances at the Harlem Stage Gatehouse.

Chita comes to the Fairmont Hotel’s Venetian Room for two performances on Feb. 23 as part of Bay Area Cabaret’s season.
