SF drag artist Joan Jett Blakk needs help after suffering stroke

Joan Jett Blakk, a San Francisco drag performer who became famous for running for president of the United States in 1992, is in Oakland's Highland Hospital after suffering a stroke, according to two friends who spoke with the Bay Area Reporter.
