Pride and police
I just read "Pride groups grapple with police in parades" [April 7]. In 2019, anti-police and anti-corporate demonstrators blocked the Pride parade for an hour, and most people had no idea what was going on, just that there was a long holdup. Our gay sisters and brothers, both active and retired in the San Francisco Police Department (I have both as friends), haven't murdered anyone. Speaking of corporations, are the corporate gas-guzzling buses going to be banned from the parade too, or do they contribute too much money? Just asking.
