Our friend George, a longtime resident of Noe Street, passed on April 17 at the age of 70. Born and raised in Mississippi, he was an Air Force veteran, lived various places, and then came to San Francisco about 30 years ago. He is survived by a brother, Preston, in Florida; two sisters, Minnie and Flora, in Mississippi; and many friends and neighbors.
George goes to join his life's love, Todd, who predeceased him by 16 years.
Many thanks to Hospice by the Bay and the IHSS employees who helped George so much during the last year. A special thanks to "Angel" Sue, who stayed by him until the end.
