Sylvia Moreno

Sylvia Moreno, MSW, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 14. She is best remembered in San Francisco for her tireless dedication to the medically underserved HIV community at Mission Neighborhood Health Center. Sylvia was the first social worker for Clinica Esperanza. She was a remarkable woman, with a generous, loving, and spicy spirit. She was loved by many and she touched many lives. Friends will get together at the Rose Garden in Golden Gate Park on Saturday, January 28 at 10:30 a.m. She loved roses. Bring a rose if you wish.
