Wayne Arnold Ollila, 68, aka Bernice, Berni entered into eternal rest on June 11, 2010 with his family by his side at the Davies Hospital in San Francisco, CA after fighting Parkinson's Disease for a long time. He was born October 4, 1941 in Painesville, Ohio the son of Arnold and Irene Ollila.
Wayne graduated from Harvey High School, Class of 1959, in Painesville, Ohio and went on to receive his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education from Kent State University.
Wayne is survived by his Mother Irene Ollila, William Maki his uncle of Painesville, Ohio; Jae Washington, his Life Partner of 34 years of San Francisco, CA; one son Jon Ollila of Tucson, AZ; Katherine Ollila-Lohr of Tucson, AZ; one daughter Maria Ollila of San Francisco, CA.
Wayne was preceded in death by his Father, Arnold Ollila.
Wayne will be missed and never forgotten. He had an unusual sense of humor that always made people laugh. He always had a funny story to tell.
