Keith Thomas Peterson, age 40, passed away in San Diego on Wednesday, February 25, 2009, following a brief illness. He was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing.
Keith was born March 17, 1968, in Newport Beach, CA, and grew up in Newport Beach and Granada Hills. A graduate of Kennedy High in Granada Hills and San Francisco State University, he lived in San Francisco until 2001 before moving to Los Angeles. He lived in San Diego for the past three years with his life partner.
Keith loved life and the gifts that every day brings. His ability for allowing the simple things in life to bring happiness to every day is an inspiration to those he left behind. He had a kind heart, an infectious smile, a contagious laugh, and the gift to bring joy and happiness to all he met. His passion in life was his family especially his nieces and nephews, all of which he was so proud of.
Keith is survived by his life partner of eight years, Chris Prado, and his loyal Golden Retriever, Max. He is also survived by his father, sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. Keith was preceded in death by his mother and younger sister. Keith will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
