Our dear friend died with Richard Duffy, his partner of 34 years, at his side.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Mel and Rose Allison, and brothers James and Mel and sisters Donna Madden and Nancy Jo Allison. He is survived by brother David and Robert and sisters Pat Eiders, Rose Hoener, Lynn Shepard and sister-in-law Margaret Allison. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and his extended family in San Francisco, including his father-in-law, Richard Duffy, Sr.
Kenny was the owner of The Baj from 1965-1975 as well as the owner of the Kokpit throughout the 1980s. He was a bartender at The Giraffe and tended bar at The Deco Lounge until his death.
There will be a family mass in Chico on June 19 and a celebration of life on June 13 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Marlena's Bar on Hayes Street.
