Clifford Carl Cayanus was born and raised in Seattle Washington and moved to California soon after graduating from the University of Washington in the early 1970s. He leaves behind his lifetime partner of 37 years, Steve Olivas, his nephew Carlos, whom he helped raise, his parents John and Jeanne Cayanus (Seattle), his sisters Kaycie (Larry) Schloer (Graham, WA) and Carol (Steve) Wilt (Port Orchard, WA). He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held on October 31 in Port Orchard and another one will be held at the Turf Club in Hayward on December 12. Cliff loved much and was much loved. He is greatly missed.
