Edward Thomson (Tom) Ogg passed away two days before Christmas after suffering heart failure at California Pacific Medical Center's Pacific Campus.

Tom was a familiar face in The Castro for many years. He was a regular at The Mix, Uncle Bert's, the Nothing Special and other venues. His sharp wit and generous wisdom will be missed by his many friends.

Tom was born in Prince George, British Columbia, was raised in San Bruno, and moved to San Francisco in his late teens. He earned a bachelor's degree in psychology at San Francisco State University which served him well in his careers at General Electric and Schlage Lock.

Tom met Dale Cameron, his life partner, in 1974 and shared homes with him in the Castro area for the next thirty-five years. In the late 1970s they were co-owners of Squirrel's Liquors on Castro Street.

He is survived by his partner Dale, a sister Blaire, and a host of loyal friends.
