November 19, 1950 – March 25, 2008
Kenneth James Emery passed away peacefully in his home on March 25, 2008. He was a kind and gentle bear of a man with warm hands and a warm heart. Ken could always be found in his usual spot hanging out in front of "StarBears" with his tea, ready to listen and give thoughtful advice to friends and strangers.
Ken served as a Eucharistic minister at Most Holy Redeemer Church in the Castro. He was very active in the Bear Community. He will be truly missed and mourned by his many friends and admirers. There will be visitation hours at Sullivan Funeral Home on Saturday April 5, 2008, from 12 noon to 6pm. A memorial mass and reception will be held at Most Holy Redeemer on Sunday April 6 at 1pm.
