Dorel (Dori) Hassidoff

September 19, 1956 – December 7, 2007

Dorel Hassidoff of San Mateo, California passed away on December 7, 2007 at Fairview University Hospital in Minneapolis from complications related to a bone marrow transplant and CLL. He is survived by his loving partner Paul Anglehart, father Eliyakim Hassidoff, uncle and aunt Drs. Ernest and Malka Goodman, parents-in-law Richard and Rita Anglehart, cherished friends, cousins, nephews and nieces in Israel, California, Wisconsin and Minnesota. His mother, Dalia, preceded him in death.

Dori was born in Haifa, Israel and lived there until after his military service where he was a sergeant in the air force. He moved to the USA in 1978 and earned an undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota and then his doctoral degree at the Marquette School of Dentistry in Milwaukee.

Dori and Paul moved to the Bay Area in 1988 and Dori served as a dentist for 10 years in San Francisco, and another eight years on the Peninsula. Blessed with an effortless sense of artistry, Dori loved opera, travel and photography (flowers and landscapes were his specialty) and had a special love for his Westie, Libby. His global travels with Paul included a 50th birthday in Paris, France. A lovely singer, Dori�s enormous giving heart brought joy to every life he touched.
