August 27, 1971 – November 27, 2006

Not only our community but the world itself lost a truly original spirit on November 27 around 5 p.m. San Francisco lost one of its most unique personalities.

She died at Davies Medical Center due to an ongoing diabetic condition combined with pneumonia, causing her to have a heart attack. This is ironic, because Antoinette's heart may no longer be hurt, but our hearts will never be the same.

We shall always remember her for her genuine laughter, which, even at the hardest of times, was never silenced. Anyone who had the distinct pleasure of knowing Antoinette at all will mourn the loss of her ability to make us laugh and to make us cry.

Aside from her "family" of those she knew here in the city, Antoinette is survived by her parents, Frank and Martha Espinosa of Red Bluff, her dear sister Rita Espinosa of Oakland, her brother Joey Espinosa of Concord, another brother Arthur Espinosa, who lives in Texas, and her brother Frank Espinosa of Shasta.

A celebration of Antoinette's life will take place at the Ark of Refuge Church, 1025 Howard St. at 7 p.m. on December 20. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to come and take part in remembering and honoring her life.

You will be missed, Antoinette, and you will never be forgotten.
