Morris Sid Gary

Morris passed away on July 30, 2006 at the age of 51 after a long illness. Born in Abbeville, Louisiana on December 17, 1954, he moved to San Francisco in 1976. Morris is survived by his partner of 13 years Tom Keane, his parents Bobby and Sybil Gary, his sisters Susan Buckelew and Tammy Stakes, his nephew and nieces Rachael, Matthew, Brandie, Joslynn, his friend the Reverend Rob Rhudy and other relatives and friends. His beloved grandparents preceded Morris in life. He loved life, music, plants, art, travel especially to Bali, and good food. He was very independent and knowledgeable about a variety of subjects. His ashes will be spread along the Coulee Kinney Road where he was raised. Contributions in his name may be made to Larkin Street Youth Services or Project Open Hand.
