The United States Navy Southwest 32nd Street Brass Band performed at Jane Warner Plaza in San Francisco's LGBTQ Castro neighborhood Thursday, October 10, as part of Fleet Week festivities. Stewie, a green sea turtle that is the Navy's environmental mascot, was also on hand, at right. Fleet Week runs through October 13, with the Blue Angels air shows set for Saturday and Sunday, along with ship tours. For more information, see the News Briefs column.
