Well-known San Francisco trans performer and activist Donna Personna took center stage with musicians Banda Sin Nombre at Precita Eyes Muralists' ¡Viva Precita Eyes! 45th anniversary gala at Gray Area Theater in the Mission Saturday, October 15. Established in 1977, Precita Eyes Muralists is devoted to enriching and beautifying urban environments through community collaborations. The gala showcased the hundreds of colorful murals found in the Mission district and beyond, and the artists who've been creating them for decades, a news release from the agency stated.
