On Sunday, September 11, 2022, James T. Porras, affectionately known to many as "Pickles," was discovered to have passed away. Born September 22, 1966 to Ernest and Stella Porras, James grew up in San Gabriel, California. In 1990, James graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in radio and television.
James was a steadfast San Francisco resident, having lived here for 36 years and he enjoyed the many unique amenities, cuisines, and people that his city has to offer. Described by many of his friends as "the funniest person that I know," James had an uproarious sense of humor — always coupling it with a beaming smile and an infectious, giggly laugh.
