San Francisco drag laureate and Oasis owner D'Arcy Drollinger has reported that the LGBTQ nightclub in the city's South of Market neighborhood was robbed early Thursday morning. Members of the club's cleaning crew were held up at gunpoint, Drollinger stated on social media.

According to a post on Instagram, Drollinger stated that while doors were broken at the LGBTQ nightclub, located at 298 11th Street, the primary victims were members of the club's cleaning crew, some of whom were robbed of their wallets and cellphones.

"Early Thursday morning, 4 armed gunmen broke into and robbed Oasis," Drollinger posted. "It was bad enough that they broke a number of doors and trashed the place, but what is even more disturbing is that they robbed our cleaning crew at gunpoint."

Drollinger stated that while everyone was unharmed, the club is soliciting donations to help replace some crew members' belongings and to make repairs.

"We are grateful everyone was unharmed, and that more damage wasn't done to our crew or our venue," Drollinger stated. "But we do want to help our crew, some of whose wallets and phones were stolen, replace their belongings, and make the urgent and necessary repairs to our space, as well as some additional security measures."

"Please donate if you can; we, as always, are beyond grateful for the support from our community," Drollinger added.

"While we are discouraged by the crime that took place, we are resilient and dedicated to being a safe and welcoming space for everyone," the post stated. "We appreciate your support of us and of our dedicated, hard working cleaning crew. Take care of yourselves and each other!"
