Despite being an obscure battle victory in Mexican history, for patrons of Castro bars 440, Toad Hall, The Edge, Midnight Sun, Moby Dick and Twin Peaks, the May 5 holiday remains an excuse for margaritas and specialty cocktails. Some folks also enjoyed some be-hatted Kentucky Derby celebrations.
