The return of Asheq, the LGBTQ dance event for Middle Eastern and North African folks and their friends, was met with rousing enthusiasm on January 28 at Slate Bar (2925 16th St.). DJ Nile and organizer Ghazwan Alsharif kept the dance grooves flowing.
