Mayor London Breed kicked off Women's History Month Monday, March 2, by honoring the founders of Women's March San Francisco during a ceremony at City Hall. Among the founders are two LGBTQ women, Elizabeth Lanyon, third from left, and Sophia Andary, fifth from left. Last fall, Breed appointed Andary to a seat on the Commission on the Status of Women. In other news, Breed on Monday also swore in lesbian artist Debra Walker to a seat on the San Francisco Arts Commission.
