Online Extra: #DearSF campaign to share nightlife workers' stories

Mayor London N. Breed, the San Francisco Entertainment Commission, the Office of Economic and Workforce Development, the Office of Small Business, and the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce launched a digital storytelling campaign, #DearSF.

#DearSF contributions can include photos, videos and short, open letters to San Francisco. From workers in the industry to their beloved supporters, the campaign welcomes expressions of survival, resilience, support, pride and community.

How to participate:

Follow @dear_sf on Instagram.

Share your #DearSF letters along with a photo or video on social media by using the hashtag #DearSF and tagging @SFEntertainmentCommission, @SFOEWD, and @dear_sf.

Organizers will find your post, and re-share it on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

Visit sf.gov/dearsf for more details.

Also, on May 18, at 3:30pm, The SF Entertainment Commission will host a Virtual Nightlife and Entertainment Summit.

Join the Entertainment Commission, City officials, community leaders, and industry peers for a Virtual Summit to address current challenges and work together to create a path toward recovery.
