California's premier cheese festival, the California Artisan Cheese Festival, is pleased to announce its 2020 Festival dates: March 27-29, 2020. The Festival will host several events at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, as well as at a range of locations in Santa Rosa and at various farm and cheese producers in Sonoma and Marin Counties. The beloved Festival, which attracts more than 3,000 guests each year, brings together artisan cheesemakers alongside farmers, chefs, brewers, winemakers, distillers and cheese enthusiasts for three full days of cheese tasting, education and celebration. Throughout the weekend, guests will have the opportunity to experience new, limited-production, and rare artisan cheeses, and learn about the art of making cheese-- all while supporting California farmers and cheesemakers. These public events include farm and producer tours, cheese tastings, pairings, educational seminars and demonstrations, and a culinary competition. Advance tickets for the popular Sunday Marketplace and Brunch go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, December 11th, and the tickets for all other events will go on sale January 1, 2020.

"We are incredibly fortunate to be able to offer support and recognition for our amazing local cheesemaking community with the California Artisan Cheese Festival, which has become one of the country's most anticipated annual events for cheese lovers and foodies," said Anthea Stolz, Executive Director of the California Artisan Cheese Guild. "And because this festival is so popular, we are happy to announce that the festival will take place over three full days this year, with more local cheesemakers, vintners, brewers, distillers, cheese experts, and chefs involved than ever before."
