A few folks braved the heat and sun and came to Mission Dolores Park October 17 for a We Are Family Here dance party to counter the planned (then moved) meeting of the white supremacist Proud Boys and to register and encourage everyone to vote. The pro-Trump event, billed as a free speech rally, was held near Civic Center Plaza. The Dolores Park dance party was co-organized by Kelly Rivera Hart and Alex U. Inn, who is also a co-founder of the People's March and Rally that was held in June.
