The home, located in San Francisco's Chinatown, will provide transitional housing for 12 trans adults beginning in February. The lead agencies overseeing the home are St. James Infirmary and Larkin Street Youth Services. The project is part of the $2.3 million allocation in the city's budget for Our Trans Home SF, which is also being used for rental subsidies to transgender and gender-nonconforming individuals.
