Meet your favorite artists, hang out with fans and attend comics-themed chats at the 2021 Queer Comics Expo. Although online this year, the two-day gathering will still provide illustrative fun for attendees.

Since 2014, the Cartoon Art Museum has hosted the annual gathering. With more than a dozen hours of scheduled programs, plus a virtual hangout space, the QCE will provide fun interaction for creators and their fans.

Artist participants include sponsor Prism Comics, which will host their annual Awards, 8 Rock Pres, A.B.O. comics A.C. Esguerra, Alex J Combs, Dylan Edwards. Emily K, Leda Zawacki, Mady G., Meggie the Ramm, Nadhir Nor, Nicki Berger, Nicky Rodriguez, Niki Smith, Noella Whitny, Ren Strapp, Salvatore Marrone, Seosanh & Anka of 198X, Sonya Saturday, Steve MacIsaac and TransCat Comics.

A featured guest speaker is Prism Award winner The Kao, whose award-winning story, Magical Boy, is a breathtakingly imaginative fantasy series starring Max a trans man in high school.

"I'm so excited to be participating in the Queer Comics Expo this year!" says creator The Kao. "It was such an honor to win the Prism Award for Magical Boy last year, and I can't wait to share more about the journey in creating Magical Boy to hopefully inspire many others."

Tickets range from $10 to a $55 VIP experience, with some free events.
