Rope Burn SF: September! @ SF Catalyst
Rope burn is a group dedicated to creating a safe space for those interested in learning the art of rope restraint, every third Thursday of the month. It's not a workshop, but aimed to help people create connections and grow the queer rope community through sharing their knowledge and skills. Leather Alliance SOMA Progressive Dinner
This progressive dinner is a social event in honor of Alden Spafford to bring together kinky individuals in a casual environment and a tour of SOMA kink businesses, with courses served at each location. The organizations will introduce themselves and share about who they are what they do. The individual directors will share about their projects and why they've joined the Leather Alliance. Leather Walk @ Jane Warner Plaza
Folsom Street Events presents Leather Walk as the official kick-off for San Francisco's Leather Week which culminates one week later at the Folsom Street Fair. The community walks together to celebrate leather, kink, family and community - all while raising funds for three great agencies. Each year, hundreds of Leather Walkers take over Market Street and march from the Castro to SoMa. The route includes stops at some of San Francisco's favorite watering holes, ending with the raising of the Leather Pride Flag at the SF Eagle. Kink 101: An Intro to SF Kink @ Wicked Grounds
New to the local public scene? This class gives you the basics on the SF BDSM scene and is perfect whether you're new to kink, want to learn more about local BDSM play and education, or even just want to know what the heck happens at a kink cafe. Folsom Forever Screening @ SF Eagle
Kick off the busy leather weekend with a movie that tells us of the history of the Folsom Street Fair and pays tribute to its late director Mike Skiff, who died from cancer-related to HPV. Kevin Thomas hosts and the SF Eagle is offering to provide the funds raised from two cocktails that you buy that evening. Learn facts about HPV in a special song Kevin Thomas wrote with Tom Goss. Reasonable Pup Play @ Mr. S Studio
Leathermen's Discussion Group presents PupBoss's workshop focusing on finding reasonable ways to engage in human pup play, covering the field of fun, from first encounters to the nuts and bolts of activity, and how to deal with some issues that can occur. Anyone (18+) is welcome to attend. Whether you are into human pup or just curious, it's a chance to hear how it is handled "Aussie" style.
