Cathedral welcomes World Tree of Hope

Consul General of Japan Tomochika Uyama holds his folded paper crane that will be placed on the Rainbow World Fund's World Tree of Hope, during the lighting ceremony at Grace Cathedral Tuesday, December 10. The tree is unique in that it is decorated with thousands of origami cranes that contain messages of hope, peace, and other wishes. People can see the tree at the cathedral, 1100 California Street, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily through January 11.
