The Nob Hill Theatre, San Francisco's iconic male strip club, closed last month and on September 1, the owners held a closing sale. Among the most popular items at the event were framed photos of male performers who made the Nob Hill a regular stop for male sex performers. The Nob Hill Theatre, 729 Bush Street, joins a parade of longtime LGBT businesses that have steadily shuttered over the past few years. In this case, the owners, married couple Larry Hoover and Gary Luce, decided to retire to Palm Springs.
