Happy about Engardio's D4 win
I was very happy with Joel Engardio's victory over Gordon Mar in San Francisco's District 4 supervisor race, reported by the Bay Area Reporter ("On 4th try, gay SF supe candidate Engardio wins," November 24). However, I was surprised and disappointed that the B.A.R. decided not to endorse Engardio, a highly qualified candidate from our community with many positions that matched those of your newspaper (e.g., yes on Prop D, no on Prop E). I look forward to great things from our new supervisor, and hope that the B.A.R. will reconsider in any future reelection campaign.
