Members of the Gay Asian Pacific Alliance joined with API Equality and a host of other LGBT Asian organizations and took part in the San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade Saturday, February 7. The contingent was led by Desiree Thompson, left, and Trinity Ordona, who have been together for 23 years. The women wore the same outfits that they donned in 2004, when they were married during San Francisco's "Winter of Love," and again in 2008 when they were legally married following the California Supreme Court decision. The Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band also marched in the parade, which marked the beginning of the Year of the Ox.
