Delayed due to a fire at Mecca Restaurant last month, over 100 people attended the July 23 event at Catch Restaurant, which featured the raffle, food, and fun. Catholic Charities has provided HIV/AIDS services for more than 20 years. It operates as an independent nonprofit organization, and neither receives funding from nor contributes funds to the Archdiocese of San Francisco or the Catholic Church. Funds raised at Monday's event go directly to the agency's HIV/AIDS programs.
