March to reclaim queer spaces

Nearly 200 people turned out Saturday, March 10, for a "March to Remember and Reclaim Queer Space" through Polk Gulch, led and organized by drag queen and Bay Area Reporter columnist Juanita MORE!, right, wearing blue veil. Community leaders, including gay mayoral candidate Mark Leno and LGBT Community Center deputy executive director Roberto Orde�ana, placed black wreaths on the doors of businesses that once housed gay bars or other types of LGBT-oriented businesses.
